Design Focus in a Flash.
Just as the cosmos is governed by fundamental laws of physics, our digital experiences are built on a foundation of consistent, reliable, and scalable design principles. The Orbit Design System is our definitive guide for building interfaces that are as beautifully complex as a galaxy, yet as easy to navigate as a single planetary system.

Here, you will find the stellar components, deep-space color palettes, and astronomical typography needed to build cohesive and accessible user interfaces.
Our Core Principles
To keep our digital universe expanding in the right direction, every component and layout in Orbit is guided by three core principles:
  • Zero Gravity (Fluid & Lightweight): Our interfaces should never feel heavy or cluttered. We use generous negative space — the "vacuum" of our layouts — to let content breathe and ensure interactions feel effortless.
  • Constellations (Modular & Connected): A single star is bright, but a constellation tells a story. Our components are designed to be modular. They are powerful on their own, but truly shine when connected to build complex, unified layouts.
  • Stellar Illumination (Clarity & Contrast): Navigating the dark shouldn't be a guessing game. We prioritize high contrast, accessibility, and clear visual hierarchies to guide users safely to their destination.
What's in the System?
This documentation serves as mission control for designers and developers. Explore the sections below to start building:
  • Foundation: The underlying physics of our UI. Includes our deep-space color palette, typography guidelines, iconography, and spacing grids.
  • Components: Our library of reusable UI elements — from basic "asteroid" components like buttons and inputs to complex "space station" modules like navigation bars and data tables.
  • Patterns: Best practices for assembling components into common user flows, ensuring a seamless journey across the entire application.
